The PMO Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programmes for Bupa Global Transformation & Change. This involves providing structured coordination, planning, reporting, performing quality reviews and data analysis. The role ensures that governance standards are upheld and facilitates effective decision-making through accurate data and insights.
The primary focus of this role is to complete quality reviews, provide reporting, insights, and analysis on the value delivered across the change portfolio. The PMO Analyst is responsible for producing high-quality portfolio reports that meet required standards of accuracy, timeliness, and frequency, supporting project resources to deliver projects to high standards, providing training and feedback and driving continuous improvement.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Maintain schedules, plans, and documentation; monitor project and portfolio risks and issues.
- Perform quality testing and analysis on projects to ensure adherence to requirements, consistency standards, and policies.
- Incorporate QA findings into training and development plans, continuous improvement plans, and the development of tools and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Provide training and support to project managers, delivery leads, business analysts, and other stakeholders on the PMO governance framework, tools, and processes.
- Ensure adherence to project management frameworks, quality standards, policies, and change control processes.
- Create and maintain the necessary templates, tools, procedures, and governance to ensure portfolio reporting is accurate and reports are produced to the highest standard.
- Provide support for outstanding audit actions and ensure these are tracked and monitored.
- Collate and analyse data to produce accurate and timely dashboards, status reports, and performance metrics.
- Review and implement ways to continuously improve the reporting of portfolio performance.

- Administer PMO tools (e.g., Wave, Innate, SharePoint) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with project managers, delivery leads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, MoP)
- Understanding of portfolio governance frameworks
- Experience creating and maintaining reports and data analysis
- Knowledge of portfolio and project management systems (Asana, Jira, Confluence etc)
- APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
- Experience in a regulated or complex organisational environment
