ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide janitorial services in an industrial/chemical area. Clean restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, control rooms, and general non-production building areas such as entryways and stairwells as follows: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, wiping down doors, walls and counters, and general housekeeping.
Maintain inventory of towels and floor mats. Restock paper products.
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies. Must be able to mix cleaning solutions per manufacturer instructions.
Must adhere to all plant safety and governmental regulations and attend all mandatory training.
This job reports to the Facilities Supervisor.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment
Minimum of three years’ experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or directly related experience/education highly preferred.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
Must be able to do simple math, read and write English language. Must be able to work with others in a union team environment.
Skills/Competencies:
Must be able to take simple directions and be self-motivated
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be physically fit to carry, push or pull 50 pounds. Must able to work in industrial/chemical environment.
This position pays $31.94 per hour.
