THE JOB:
As a Pool Supervisor at Vdara, you’ll help lead a tranquil and refined poolside experience at this all-suite luxury resort known for its calm, non-gaming atmosphere. Through your welcoming presence and leadership, you’ll guide the recreation team while ensuring guests enjoy attentive service in a relaxing setting. By anticipating needs and taking ownership of the guest experience, you’ll create WOW moments and lasting memories that extend far beyond each stay at Vdara.
THE STARTING RATE: $21.00 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Supervise the daily operations of the pool, including monitoring/meeting safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness, ambiance, work with supporting departments and meet maintenance needs
Responsible for the hiring, coaching, issuing discipline, training, and accountability of all employees in the operation to include supporting departments
Respond to and assist with incidents/accidents and involve security for support and completing applicable reporting; ensure departmental compliance regarding company, state/local and Health District polices, inventory control, loss prevention, Risk Management and security
Ensure timely and professional resolution to guest and employee related challenges and/or concerns
Participate in ongoing training, communicate company policies and objectives and support their implementation
Ensure employee satisfaction through recognition, career development, and organizational teamwork to uphold positive morale
Maintain efficient staffing and supply levels needed to provide superior service and maximize revenue opportunities
Implement and maintain Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and growth
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be 21 years of age or older
2+ Years of prior relevant experience required
1+ Years of prior relevant supervisory experience in pool operations or a similar F&B environment preferred
Previous lifeguard experience preferred
