Pay Range

$18.85 - $28.30

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED General Studies Required
  • CPR Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Lifeguard and/ or Certified Pool Operator Certification Preferred

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for daily monitoring and general maintenance of all pools/aquatic areas of the Center, this includes cleaning of all areas.
  • Provides supervision of all the members and guests in the aquatic areas.
  • Monitors and upholds all safety rules and regulations of the aquatics area are being followed by members and guests.
  • Effectively promotes a positive work environment while at work and outside the facility. Demonstrates a high level of teamwork, cooperation, and respect for co-workers.
  • Adheres to established department/hospital policies and procedures. Maintains competencies in all related areas. Participates in all emergency drills/reviews and stays current in CPR and other related certifications.
  • Upholds a professional working relationship at all times and adheres to department rules. Practices teamwork and adheres to Standards of Behavior.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with staff, members and guests
  • Must be able to effectively manage a high stress environment

Work Environment:

  • Will be exposed to the sun and pool chemicals

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to withstand summer heat and humid conditions this includes comfortable working outdoors and in water.
  • Light physical duty such as lifting pool equipment, cleaning supplies, moving furniture and vacuuming pools
  • Frequent walking and standing
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
