Job Summary:
A Polysomnographic Trainee develops competency in and performs the basics of polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under direct supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist. Initiates and conducts cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (BLS).Job Description:
Join our Sleep Disorders Team! Under the supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), you’ll conduct sleep studies (MSLT, MWT, parasomnia testing), prepare and calibrate equipment, apply sensors, monitor data quality, and assist with PAP therapy. You’ll document sleep stages and clinical events, ensure patient safety, and provide age‑specific care across all populations.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED plus patient care experience OR enrollment in a polysomnography program
Must obtain RPSGT credential within 36 months of hire
CPR certification required
Preferred: Associate degree in science, EEG/sleep testing experience, computer/HIS familiarity
