Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading the POLY product category across Greater Asia, driving the category strategy, business performance, and growth agenda across the region. The position leads a team of country category managers, ensuring alignment of regional priorities with local market execution.
The role partners closely with Worldwide (WW) category, product, and marketing teams to translate global strategy into regional plans while representing the voice of the Greater Asia markets in global discussions.
The position collaborates with regional sales, marketing, and finance teams to deliver category growth, optimize portfolio performance, and ensure strong operational execution.
The role requires strong strategic leadership, cross-regional coordination, and the ability to balance global priorities with local market dynamics.
Responsibilities
• Leads the POLY category strategy and business plan across Greater Asia, driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
• Manages and develops a team of country category managers, providing direction, coaching, and alignment to regional priorities and global strategy.
• Partners with Worldwide category and product management teams to align regional initiatives with global roadmap, pricing strategies, and go-to-market programs.
• Represents Greater Asia in WW category discussions, bringing regional insights, market trends, and customer requirements to influence global strategy.
• Works closely with regional sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure effective execution of category plans and commercial initiatives.
• Oversees category performance across markets, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), pipeline, and sales results to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Drives regional go-to-market strategies, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging, and execution across markets.
• Leads market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform category investment priorities.
• Gathers and analyzes customer and partner feedback across the region, translating insights into actionable category improvements and product positioning.
• Builds strong relationships with senior sales leaders, partners, and key stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and business results.
• Maintains ownership of product line management, portfolio optimization, and regional quota contribution for the category.
• Supports strategic partnerships and vendor engagements, ensuring alignment with category priorities.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Product Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically minimum 15 years of experience in category management, product management, P&L ownership, or related commercial roles.
• Experience working in regional or multinational environments and managing cross-country teams is highly desirable.
• Audio Visual experience preferred
