Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a results driven‑ professional with experience in continuous improvement and process management to support strategic governance of sector principles and operating practices.
The successful candidate will ensure the configuration of all processes and identify opportunities for improvement that boost efficiency and rigor. They will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders. They will also bring strong problem-solving and organizational skills, enabling them to prioritize work, manage competing demands, and drive issues to timely resolution.
This position will be based full-time on-site in Linthicum, MD near the Baltimore area.
The Policies and Procedures Analyst will support the development and maintenance of Mission Systems sector procedures, manuals, work instructions, and forms published to the MS Sector Principles and Operating Practices (PrOP) system.
Analyze document content for adequate internal process controls and to identify/eliminate redundancies or conflicts with other published company/sector document content.
Ensure grammatical correctness and apply PrOP document standards and format
Support stakeholder review of documents and ensure the swift and effective resolution of comments and feedback.
Ensure strict adherence to process/internal requirements for the control of documents, files, and metadata and retention of supporting process records/artifacts.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience (or a Master's degree).
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Vizio and SharePoint.
Knowledge of the government regulations FAR and DFARS
Have developed and implemented metrics related to process rigor
