Primary Purpose of Job (Job Summary)
This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of Proof of Concept (POC) products for the Medical Affairs AI & Digital team. As a full-stack developer, this position drives the rapid validation of innovative digital health solutions and AI applications across mobile and web platforms, bridging the gap between clinical concepts and technical feasibility.
Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Lead the full-stack development of POC products, supporting both Mobile (iOS/Android/WeChat Mini Program) and Web platforms to ensure rapid delivery of MVPs (Minimum Viable Products).
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Medical Experts to translate clinical requirements into technical prototypes and interactive applications.
- Integrate AI models and algorithms (developed by the algorithm team) into software applications, focusing on performance optimization and user experience.
- Design and maintain scalable and secure code architectures, ensuring compliance with medical data privacy and security standards (e.g., cybersecurity, PIPL).
- Explore and validate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., LLM applications, Generative AI) for potential use cases in medical scenarios.
- Participate in the entire product lifecycle from concept design, coding, testing to deployment and demonstration.
- Prepare technical documentation for handover to IT or external vendors for large-scale production if the POC is successful.
Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
1. Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Informatics, or related fields.
2. Experience in developing medical-related digital products or AI applications is highly preferred.
3. > 3 years’ experience in full-stack development or rapid prototyping in agile environments.
Job Required Competencies
1. Full-Stack Proficiency: Proficient in frontend frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) and backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Go).
2. Mobile Development: Skilled in mobile development, especially cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) and WeChat Mini Program development.
3. AI Integration: Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models (RESTful APIs, TensorFlow Serving, etc.) and understanding of LLM application development (LangChain, etc.).
4. Medical & Data Acumen: Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and data privacy regulations is a plus.
5. Agility & Communication: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (medical experts).
