You get to work with meaningful tasks:

This is your chance to get a comprehensive view for project management office (PMO) work in Airbus Public Safety and Security by supporting R&D projects in planning and financial updates. 

You will actively contribute to improvement initiatives led by the Head of PMO. Your tasks will include analyzing project data to support project managers, finance and head of PMO in their work. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and timely monthly reporting, while also proposing new ideas to streamline our ways of working. Additionally, you will assist with day-to-day project management activities in specific projects.

The duration of this trainee period is 10 months and will start on an agreed date or 1.3.2026. The position is full-time during June-August 2026 and part-time (at least 3 days a week) during other times.

Who do we see working in this trainee position?

Our trainee program is aimed at those currently pursuing their studies at university or university of applied sciences. 

What we expect of you

You are a student aiming for a technical or business degree. Knowledge of project management basics and Atlassian tools are considered beneficial but they are not a prerequisite. We appreciate a confident approach and the ability to experiment with new tools.

You should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to process complex information efficiently. This role requires an independent working style, as you will be responsible for producing clear guidelines and training materials. As a person, you are a proactive and helpful team player.

Your boarding pass:

  • Education: You are a student pursuing a degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • Methodology: You have a basic understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Tooling: Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Google workspace/MS office is a strong advantage. Experience with Generative AI for analyzing datasets is highly valued.
  • Collaboration: You are fluent in English and ready to support project teams in multiple sites and cross-functional communication
  • Analytical Skills: You have a keen eye for detail to assist with Project financial tracking and monitoring
