PM Talent Development & Communication Manager

Aptiv’s Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a PM Talent Development & Communication Manager to lead global initiatives that strengthen program management capabilities and drive engagement across the organization. In this role, you will design and deliver best-in-class training programs, implement strategic communication plans, and develop approaches to attract and retain top talent. This position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact by advancing talent development, fostering clear and effective communication, and driving strategic initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

YOUR ROLE

  • Drive best-in-class PM talent development by assessing skill requirements and creating a global training plan for program management

  • Develop and deploy training content through on-site sessions, instructor-led courses, and on-demand learning

  • Define the PM value proposition and implement strategies to attract high-caliber talent to the program management organization

  • Lead strategic projects focused on training and talent development

  • Provide ongoing support, updates, and enhancements to the PMO SharePoint platforms to ensure usability and relevance

  • Drive communication on PDP improvements and special initiatives across the global program management community

  • Provide coaching and support to PM organization as needed

  • Support continuous improvement of PDP processes, tools, standards, templates, and policies to simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and drive standardization

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

  • Professional experience in relevant areas (e.g., global operations, automotive, engineering, program management, cross-functional teams, business administration)

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to create polished visuals and present effectively to senior audiences

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills

  • High energy, tenacity, and resourcefulness in tackling challenging problems

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship management skills

  • Fluency in English

  • Min. 3 years of experience on a similar role

NICE TO HAVE

  • Ability to combine structured, analytical thinking with sound business judgment and creativity to solve complex problems

  • Ability to lead through influence and align large groups toward common goals

  • Experience with PDP processes, Planview, and Stages

  • Training or experience in business/finance acumen
