SUBJECT:       JOB OPENING – RECEIVING

We have the following job available in the Receiving Department:

JOB TITLE:                 P.M. Receiving & Delivery Helper

# OF OPENINGS         ONE (1)

BASE RATE/HOUR:    $27.21

HOURS: Normally start - 2:00 P.M. - 10:30 P.M. Monday – Friday. (Not Guaranteed 40 Hours)

Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

  • Receive all materials necessary for the operation of the plant (bulk ingredients, packaging materials, etc.) according to HACCP procedures and perform all other receiving functions as directed by supervisor  
  • Supply (PSA) Production Storage Areas as needed. 
  • Ability to perform periodic inventories and cycle counts.
  • Use SAP to record and maintain accurate raw material inventories.
  • Unload, sort, and distribute LTL deliveries, including carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL, ensuring materials reach the correct internal destinations.
  • Must be certified or willing to learn to drive a forklift.
  • Must be highly focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Will be required to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to: serving in the role of 5S Leader, actively participating in all audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.) and all aspects of team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude, which are necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment. The person in this position must also perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor and/or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:    Applicant will be required to take and successfully pass a fork lift operator’s test.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
