Platform Project Manager (M/F/D)

Valeo Thermal Systems

Skawina’s engine cooling plant is the largest and oldest Valeo site in Poland. The plant designs and manufactures the latest generation of innovative heat exchangers, i.e., engine coolers, oil coolers, air turbocharger coolers, air-conditioning and complete engine cooling systems (cooling modules including fan system), which in addition to their basic functions allow to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of harmful substances including carbon dioxide.

Currently for our entity Valeo Thermal Systems in Skawina we recruit a Platform Project Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Project performance objectives (Quality, Cost, Profitability, Delivery and Timing) in the management of Projects. Ensure Project or System coordination to achieve all projects targets in compliance with Valeo and Customer expectations.

• Guarantee timely validation of all project deliverables

• Monitor and coordinate project team activities, defining timelines to meet key milestones

• Secure and manage project resources effectively

• Resolve project issues with the support of cross-functional (simultaneous engineering) teams

• Ensure delivery of complete project standards packages (specifications, FMEA, training, etc.)

Team Management

• Lead and manage the project team both functionally and operationally

• Coordinate cross-functional contributors (e.g. R&D, Purchasing, etc.)

• Organize and drive the activities of all team members to ensure project success

Budget & Reporting

• Define and manage the project budget

• Prepare project reviews to support decision-making (PMC2)

• Prepare, maintain, and submit PAA and related risk analysis documentation

Collaboration with P1 Teams

• Support P1 teams during RFQ phases and development when collaboration is required

• Support customer presentations once IP protection is secured

• Ensure proper application of standards within P1 projects

• Synchronize development with CLEAN milestones and ensure timely delivery at expected maturity levels

Standards & Compliance

• Promote company values, culture, and standards (products, methodologies, tools) within the team

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines

• Adhere to the Code of Ethics and Health, Safety & Environment requirements

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics, Acoustics, or a related field)

• Experience in fan system design, Heat exchanger and/or AGS would be an advantage

• Proven experience in managing technical teams

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive or aerospace industry

• Fluency in English (minimum B2/C1 level)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
