Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into effective technical solutions.
  • Ensure product fitment by aligning business needs with Oracle EPM capabilities and recommending best-fit modules or configurations.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and ensure product fitment with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
  • Apply understanding of FP&A Process and Finance allocation methodology, as well as ERP applications and data models on Snowflakes.
  • Design Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS) SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with data teams to design integrations for drivers and KPIs. Apply technical knowledge to build metadata, design webforms, dashboards, business rules, and data management processes.
  • Ensure alignment of solution design with Oracle EPM product capabilities and roadmap.
  • Document solution designs and system landscapes. Install, upgrade, configure, and integrate technical solutions in Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Build technical solutions that address business problems using new or replacement systems.
  • Utilize EPM Automate, Groovy scripting, Python, and shell scripting (.ksh) for automation and customization. Lead or support implementation of Oracle EPBCS solutions.
  • Perform unit, system, and interface testing for Oracle Planning modules and related system interfaces.
  • Validate data flows, system interfaces, and ensure accuracy and performance of planning modules. Support rollout of Oracle EPBCS solutions.
  • Maintain documentation to support audits, compliance, and knowledge transfer.
  • Proactively investigate optimization opportunities to enhance application performance and user experience. Document technical procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of commonly used IT frameworks, concepts, and practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Applications, Engineering, Finance, or a related field and 5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud EPM SaaS solutions, Oracle planning product modules, Oracle EPBCS, Oracle enterprise data management, Oracle profitability and cost management module, Oracle FreeForm/Oracle Essbase, python/.ksh, and Groovy.
