Why is this role important to us:

As the Lead Operational Excellence Specialist within Data Management, this role will advance continuous improvement programs that elevate the efficiency, quality, and performance of data operations at SimCorp. With typically 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, process optimization, or data management, this role involves identifying opportunities for process improvements, implementing best practices, and ensuring that data management systems and workflows align with organizational goals. The Lead Operational Excellence Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data operations and support the company's broader data strategy.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead process improvement initiatives within the data management team to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and system performance
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining data workflows, reducing manual tasks, and improving data accuracy and reliability
  • Implement and support best practices for data management, ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards
  • Work with business and IT teams to optimize data management systems and tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data management processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead training and knowledge-sharing sessions to encourage operational excellence and build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Support the implementation of automation and data processing improvements to reduce operational costs and improve data delivery speed
  • Analyze data management processes and recommend solutions to address inefficiencies or bottlenecks
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of operational excellence projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members to cultivate a cooperative and results-driven workplace
