As a Platform Specialist with an emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), you will report into the SFMC Platform Lead. You are expected to be at the forefront of the platform for the team which includes requesting enhancements to improve owner experience, being up to date with all functionality, creating guides on how to use Dyson systems effectively, and being accountable for training the platforms to others within Group and in market teams. You are also expected to manage delivery and activation of content for NPD & campaigns, improvements to existing content, and being a key stakeholder in enhancements to our digital platforms which improve anything from end user experience to back end content management build processes.
Platform configuration is integral to the role’s responsibilities, requiring knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, AMPscripts, SQL and other platform related skills to get the most out of our content solutions. Examples of this would be creating queries for our databases so that emails and app notifications are sent to the appropriate audience and maintaining a catalogue of layouts and modules within emails, notifications, and CMS.
Original content designing, authoring and creation is a key part of the role, where you work closely stakeholders across Marketing, Experience, Business Unit, and RDD teams to attain a deep understanding of how our digital platforms can offer the best possible experience to our customers.
Using your platform expertise, you will consult and collaborate with these stakeholders to design, shape and build and deliver a world class owner experience. When leading content deliverables for new product launches, you will work alongside other content specialists and teams to ensure content builds are of the highest quality, utilising the latest functionality in our content management systems, and are scaleable for our global teams to successfully execute NPD & campaigns.
You will collaborate with the enhancement teams to test new functionalities on the CMS platforms, and work with designers, copywriters, commercial, and market representatives to ensure demanding standards of excellence are achieved. You’ll also conduct user acceptance testing and business validation testing working closely with IT functions.
There will also be a requirement to work with cross-functional and global teams across a wide range of languages, where we collaborate with teams globally to support in localisation of our content ahead of each country launching a product or campaign.
3+ years experience using CMS platforms, preferably one or more of: Salesforce Marketing/Service Cloud, SAP CRM
Experience working with and managing other teams, including global and offshore teams
Exceptional Dyson product knowledge
Creative in both problem solving and enhancing support content with new ideas
Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects with changing timelines
Confidence in leading deliverables, and other people to deliver content builds to a perfect specification
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and preferably the Atlassian suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach
Ability to prioritise effectively, with a drive for results
Self-motivated, proactive and an exceptional team player
Attention to detail and quality to their work
