Exposure to diverse and impactful projects supporting the performance of the Group in Canada and the United States.
You will be involved from development to project execution, thus covering all phases of a technical project, including engineering and commissioning
The Plant Project Engineer, preparing and managing Airgas capital investment projects is responsible for:
Apply engineering and technical knowledge guided by the Group technical standards and design rules compiled in the Industrial Management System (IMS)
Manage overall project with excellence to ensure safe and reliable delivery and achieve the project KPI's
Achieve high safety performance by applying all safety rules within the project.
Manage key stakeholders
Manage risks and mitigation plans
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Processing or Chemical Engineering
Must have:
Ability to travel in the US and Canada
General knowledge including but not limited to Civil, Structural, Process Control, Electrical and Instrumentation engineering
Knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques
Experience in Project Management
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good adaptation skills. International and intercultural mindset.
Nice to have:
Experience in equipment sizing and engineering calculations
Experience in industrial gas, industrial projects, ideally Air Separation and Cryogeny
PMP or Other Project Management certificate is preferable
