Operate and Assist

Opportunity to join our team as a Quarry Operator at our Edmonton Quarry in Cairns, Queensland. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager, and we are seeking applicants who are experienced operators, have a passion for safety and values a strong work ethic.
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work up to 12-hour days and 5.5-day weeks during our busy periods

In your new role with us, you will:

• Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
• Operating the crushing and screening plant
• General fixed plant maintenance and inspections
• During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all PNQ premises.
