Reporting to: Manufacturing Director, Thailand
The Plant Manager will lead overall plant operations to deliver EHSS, Quality/Food Safety, productivity, and cost targets—while building a strong operations team and continuous improvement culture.
What you’ll be accountable for:
Safety, compliance & environment : Ensure full regulatory and legal compliance; lead safety & health programs across employees and contractors; drive environmental performance beyond compliance.
Quality & customer: Ensure quality and food safety standards meet/exceed customer expectations; prioritize customer needs over plant KPI targets when required.
People & leadership: Mentor and develop the plant operations team; actively manage development plans to build a strong talent pipeline.
Business alignment & operating system: Align plant goals with Thailand business objectives; lead IPS (Ingredion Performance System) implementation with appropriate resourcing.
What you will bring :
Solid operations/plant management experience with proven results delivery and people development.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Science (advanced business degree preferred).
Strong decision-making in ambiguity; acts quickly and effectively.
Hands-on, shop-floor-connected leader; surfaces issues and ensures corrective actions prevent recurrence.
Fluent Thai with strong English language skills.
High ownership mindset; works with limited supervision and owns outcomes. Strategic CI capability: Identifies step-change improvements and leverages best practices across sites.
Strong stakeholder influence across and beyond formal reporting lines.
