The Plant Manager is responsible for all operations at Integra's Mansfield, MA facility.  In this position you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies and tactics for short- and long-term goals to achieve the highest standards of quality, customer service, safety, engagement and financial metrics while practicing servant leadership. This leader is responsible for leading and developing talent and ensuring a culture of safety, quality and compliance.  The Plant Manager has direct responsibility for manufacturing, materials, factory supply chain, fulfillment, engineering, EHS, facilities, as well as collaborating with other functions at the site including quality, regulatory, finance, human resources, product development and process technology. This integral role develops and implements company policies and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and other agencies i.e. FDA, OSHA, ISO 13485.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Mansfield, MA site performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement (SQDCE) by establishing, monitoring, and driving performance through a comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  Implement a robust performance management system to ensure alignment with corporate, site, and stakeholder goals driving accountability at all levels of the organization.

  • Deploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across the site to improve operational efficiency, eliminate waste, reduce variation, and strengthen process discipline. Foster productivity and result culture to advance operational excellence and ensure sustained improvements in manufacturing reliability, throughput, and cost effectiveness.

  • Oversee all safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives at the site, ensuring manufacturing capacity meets current and future demand.  Regularly analyze performance data and trends to proactively address gaps and implement corrective actions that sustain high performance levels.

  • Lead the site in the continual pursuit of a stronger quality culture and a robust quality management system. Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, GMP) and company quality systems, ensuring delivery on risk mitigation. Ensure all colleagues are trained, engaged, and accountable for maintaining product and process quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with corporate functions, including Supply Chain, Distribution, Quality, Regulatory, and IT, to ensure integration of planning, execution, and systems. Co-lead the implementation of Oracle (Integra's ERP system) and other digital platforms that support efficient and compliant manufacturing operations.

  • Partner with divisional leadership across Commercial, Finance, Product Development, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure alignment with division-level strategic priorities, including support for new product introductions, cost improvement initiatives, technology transfers, and sustaining lifecycle management.

  • Ensure the site’s environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs meet or exceed corporate and regulatory requirements. Drive a proactive safety culture, maintain all facilities and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards, and ensure that physical security and asset protection measures are in place and effective.

  • Lead talent development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives for the site. Promote a high-performance culture aligned with Integra’s mission, values, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. Develop robust succession plans, execute colleague recognition programs, and ensure appropriate staffing, training, and development activities are in place.

  • Own the site’s financial performance and budget management, including oversight of headcount, operational expenses, and capital investments. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and alignment of spending with strategic priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering or other technical area, Graduate degree or MBA preferred

  • 15+ years management experience, previous plant management required

  • Experience working in a regulated industry, Medical Device Class III experience strongly preferred

  • Strong preference for Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface with production and supervisory personnel

  • Ability to work in a Total Quality Management/Matrix environment

  • Experience with Oracle is a plus

  • Knowledgeable in the following areas:

    • Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)

    • Project management

    • Food and Drug Administration (FDA), International Standards Organization (ISO)

Salary Pay Range:

$192,050.00 - $263,350.00 USD Salary

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
