Work Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Starting Salary: $28.45/hour (approx. $60K annually)
What You’ll Do
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility needs, including procurement and inventory tracking for non-production items.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation for easy accessibility and audit readiness.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to support facility needs. Coordinate and track shipments of critical materials, prepare shipping documentation (including customs paperwork), and resolve shipping issues in collaboration with internal teams.
- Support contractor onboarding and compliance with site safety protocols. Conduct and document safety observations, first aid incidents, and daily safety walks. Maintain HSE boards and wellness displays.
- Schedule calibration of safety instruments, promote hazard identification programs, and assist with audits (CTPAT/Supply Chain Security). Compile monthly safety performance statistics and track corrective actions.
- Maintain and update emergency response plans and coordinate drills to ensure site readiness.
- Help organize plant events, employee engagement activities, and support 5S program audits and waste management initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- College diploma or university degree.
- 1–3 years of administrative experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with shipping/logistics processes is an asset.
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety principles
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions
This role is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to a manufacturing environment, which may involve noise, moving machinery, and minimal chemical hazards. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety shoes will be required when entering production areas. The position involves long periods of sitting, changing priorities, and occasional travel to other locations for training or information sharing.
