Job Title

Position Overview

Essential Duties:

• Operate the coater at top efficiency

• Control the latex adhesive and Precoat process by LCS HMI to ensure proper application

• Make sure the carpet is dry at the proper back temperature

• Set Coater Speed, Operate Main Tenter and End Dam Guides, and

• Monitor all Coater Alarms.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, stoop, and climb steps

• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations

• Must participate in group stretching prior to shift

Other Requirements:

• Communication is important with all employees on the line.

• Alert Supervisor of potential issues with the equipment

Safety & Security Requirements:

• This position has the responsibility and authority to report to management any safety problems, and potential problems encountered while performing the job

• This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output and their co-worker

• Employees must use extreme caution when changing the tenter brushes
