Role Purpose and Team

As a Planning Manager, you will join one of the world’s leading B2B agencies, working with a dynamic team of specialists to deliver outstanding results for high-profile clients. You will take ownership of media planning across your client portfolio, ensuring campaigns are expertly crafted, activated, and optimised across multiple channels. This role is pivotal in building strong client relationships, driving best-in-class campaign delivery, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will also play a key part in developing the skills of an Account Executive, supporting their growth while advancing your own expertise. Your work will help shape the success of innovative campaigns, contributing to dentsu B2B’s reputation for excellence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead campaign planning and delivery – Oversee the end-to-end process from RTB, planning, activation, reporting, and optimisation for client campaigns.

  • Build client relationships – Develop trusted partnerships with client campaign leads, ensuring high-quality RTBs and effective plan delivery.

  • Develop media partner network – Establish and nurture relationships with both established and emerging media partners to enhance campaign performance.

  • Manage stakeholders – Coordinate with internal teams, analytics, creative, PR agencies, and other partners to ensure seamless campaign execution.

  • Present plans and proposals – Create and deliver engaging presentations that clearly communicate campaign strategies and recommendations to clients.

  • Mentor and support team members – Guide, train, and develop Account Executives, fostering their growth and ensuring high standards in campaign planning and implementation.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Campaign management expertise – Proven experience owning campaign delivery from start to finish, with hands-on media planning across multiple channels, including above the line.

  • Stakeholder management – Strong ability to manage relationships with clients, internal teams, and external agencies.

  • Organisation and time management – Exceptionally organised, ensuring deadlines are met, meetings run smoothly, and follow-ups are actioned.

  • Team development focus – Commitment to supporting the growth and development of direct reports as well as your own professional advancement.

  • Problem-solving and initiative – Confident tackling challenging projects and creating actionable plans to drive progress.

  • B2B account experience – Background in demand-based B2B accounts is desirable.
