Planning and Control Specialist
Full Time
Derby or Bristol / Hybrid
What you will be doing:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Control Specialist Manager to join the Planning & Control team in Civil Portfolio Planning. Investing in our people and our functional competency is critical to our future success in Planning & Control (P&C). P&C is responsible for managing the end to end (E2E) supply and demand processes, from Sales & Operational Planning, through demand planning, parts production and supply, warehouse storage and logistics, supply into engine build and onward transportation and delivery of engines to our end customers.
As our customer demand continues to increase, we need to ensure that the team is ‘match-fit’, to enable Civil Aerospace to deliver. This central role enables you to develop, deploy and support functional processes, tools, training and systems that enable the total supply chain to produce credible plans that balance cost and performance. Provide business support and coaching where necessary and develop communities of practice. Measure process performance and champion compliance. It will give access to people across the P&C organisation to play a major role in evolving P&C rules, tools and processes for the future.
