Reporting directly to the Senior Planning Supervisor, you as a Planner I will be responsible for ensuring a balanced production plan aligned with customer requirements and business needs, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and accurate planning systems. You will play a key role in customer and supplier coordination, ensuring service expectations are met and exceeded through effective communication, analysis, and execution.
You will support production and material planning activities, maintain updated operational metrics, and provide reliable information to enable timely and data-driven decision-making. Your role will require strong analytical skills, numerical agility, and the ability to anticipate risks within planning systems to ensure continuity of supply and customer satisfaction.
Plan production and material requirements based on customer demand, following established procedures and planning guidelines.
Provide customer and supplier service, ensuring timely communication, accurate information, and effective resolution of delivery commitments.
Send future demand forecasts to suppliers and service providers to enable improved service levels and proactive capacity planning.
Maintain planning systems and ERP data updated with the latest customer and supplier information, identifying and analyzing potential variations.
Monitor and maintain defined operational metrics, providing information required to support management decision-making.
Negotiate delivery dates with customers based on supplier lead times and material availability.
Coordinate with Production to review special shipping plans and scheduling requirements when necessary.
Anticipate material purchases even when not generated by MRP, when system anomalies are identified and supported by cycle counts, BOM reviews, or supplier shortage risk notifications.
Participate directly in compliance with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001, IATF, CELC, and C-TPAT standards, supporting sustainable processes and workplace safety initiatives.
Exercise authority to stop processes or activities that pose imminent risks to health, safety, or product quality.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support planning, production, quality, and supply chain objectives.

Strong customer service orientation with the ability to meet and exceed service expectations.
Experience in production and material planning within a manufacturing environment.
Highly analytical with strong mathematical and numerical skills, capable of managing conflict and resolving planning challenges.
Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
Advanced conversational English.
Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene principles.
Knowledge of ERP systems (applicable within Littelfuse).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments while maintaining accountability for planning outcomes.
