Principal Accountabilities:
Sub Job Family Description: Develop, integrate and provide account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning which includes replenishment data, point-of sale data, sales promotion information, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity, and new distribution/product deletions. Assist in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts. Maintain and manage product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand. Analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. Align sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups. ___Under broad supervision:* Responsible for the market level forecasting of targets and fill rate achievement* May have budget and inventory responsibility* Maximize account sales and inventory turns by forecasting consumer demand and developing optimal product assortments and replenishment inventory strategies
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field *Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager’s criteria* Three to five years of related experience preferred* Strong written and oral communication skills
