Reporting directly to the Planning Supervisor, you as a Production Planner will be responsible for creating, tracking, and maintaining production schedules to support manufacturing operations at the Matehuala facility.
You will determine production priorities and sequence orders on the shop floor, ensuring timely delivery to customers and alignment with operational goals. Additionally, you will analyze requirements, process MRP messages, and follow up on urgent orders and special commitments to maintain schedule accuracy and performance.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of planning activities, maintaining strong analytical focus and organizational discipline.
Create and maintain production schedules based on demand and capacity.
Determine priorities and sequence production orders on the shop floor.
Process MRP messages and analyze planning requirements.
Collect and validate data needed to build accurate production plans.
Follow up on urgent orders, expedites, and special customer requests.
Track schedule performance and support on-time delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
Monitor and report production schedule status and updates.
Location: Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.
Bachelor’s degree required
1+ year of experience in planning or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of MRP systems.
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and align work effectively.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
