In this role, you will provide Supply Chain Network Optimization to Global Supply Management and build scenarios of volume to achieve optimal results and drive decisions. You will focus on analyzing Global and Local Placement for all brands Levi's, Signature and Denizen, Tops and Bottoms. You will report to the Manager, Supply Planning.
Responsibilities
Analyze and recommend placement for optimization at Product PC9 Level, COGS, Supplier Capability, Risk and Fabric rationalization, X-source Recommendations and Risk Management
Partner with Global Supply Management to determine best way to asses and analyze costing information to better inform future placements
Provide PLM placement support to Pre-Season team and Resource Planning Team to assist with source configuration/placement loading
Drive process improvements and in-season planning optimization to support the design and implementation of the new global supply chain systems
Provide forecast scenario building to assist placement analysis and optimization
Automate reporting and enhance business processes to improve placement efficiency and effectiveness
Pull placement bi-weekly and publish to stakeholders
Coordinate Lead-Time and MOQ data gathering from the source base and ensure accuracy
Run and publish Monthly Global Line Plan and Quarterly FLX Reports
Prep carryover placement template to Product Development teams to allocate vendor % from previous season for carryover product
Provide post-placement milestone meeting analysis including volume comparisons to LS and LY, brand volume overviews by country/region/vendor, seasonal cross source analysis, capacity vs placement volume, volume tracking through forecast cycle
Assist in the management and analysis of the seasonal go-to-market calendars.
Perform data checks to ensure complete and error-free placement before in-season planning handoff
Create and deploy regular dashboards and adhoc reports
Maintain department managed tools, develop training on tools, project manage placement and process.
Track and report key Pre-Season & Placement KPIs
Qualifications
BS in Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics or related area
Minimum 4 years in planning/business analytics/supply chain background preferred
Must have strong analytical skills, Excel, SQL, SAP (or other ERP/planning systems), Alteryx (preferred) and good understanding of IT systems
Understanding of Placement Optimization and Supply Chain Networks mandatory
Statistical Forecasting and Go-To-Market Calendars a plus
Ability to take on and lead projects
Strong problem solving and project management skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detailed-oriented
