Strathcona is seeking an experienced PI System Consultant to support our enterprise AVEVA PI System. Reporting to the Team Lead, Operational Technology, you will improve consistency, usability, and performance of the PI System while expanding its operational and analytical value across the organization.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality PI configurations, dashboards, and integrations that align with business objectives and operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and enhance existing AVEVA PI System configurations and data models

  • Design and refine PI AF structures, templates, and asset hierarchies

  • Develop and improve PI Vision dashboards and reporting solutions

  • Support integration of operational data from control systems and field devices

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and other Strathcona teams to deliver defined PI use cases

  • Improve data quality, clarity, and usability across the PI environment

  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and best practices to internal teams

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering AVEVA PI System solutions in oil and gas environments

  • Strong hands-on expertise with PI AF, PI Vision, and data integration

  • Proficiency in AVEVA PI System configuration and administration

  • Experience with PI AF structures, templates, and asset hierarchies

  • Strong skills in PI Vision dashboard development and reporting solutions

  • Knowledge of data integration from control systems and field devices

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Availability for occasional travel to field sites in Alberta and Saskatchewan
