Position Summary:  Provides comprehensive medical care to patients in various health conditions following established standards and practices. Demonstrates necessary skills and services to ensure a seamless, high-quality patient experience. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, and physicians. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing treatments and medications, and monitoring the patients’ progress 

Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests and explaining the results to patients. 

Collecting and maintaining patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam results 

Educating patients and their families about treatments and aftercare 

Collaborating with other medical professionals and departments 

Performing basic administrative tasks 

Required Qualifications:   

Education and Training: 

Medical degree and successful completion of a residency and fellowship (if applicable) in specialty 

License and certification to practice medicine and prescribe medication in the State of Illinois 

Physician must possess and maintain active board certification in specialty 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
