Job Summary:

Geisinger is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained physician for a primary care opportunity in central Pennsylvania at several long-term care facilities.

Job Duties:

The nursing home/skilled nursing facility-based physician works in conjunction with community medicine clinical staff, applicable insurance case management staff, and skilled nursing facilities to ensure patients are appropriately managed in the sub-acute and/or long-term care setting. The physician provides direct (hands-on) care in nursing homes/skilled facilities with a goal to improve quality and prevent unnecessary re-admissions to the acute care setting.

The locations include long-term care facilities Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation and Emmanuel Center at Maria Joseph Manor, Danville, Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Milton and Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Watsontown, PA.

  • Compensation – ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience

  • Up to $250k recruitment incentives
