Allied Physicians Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join our team in a Telemedicine role supporting after-hours patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide meaningful clinical support to families while working in a structured, remote environment with strong organizational backing.
This is an ideal role for a physician who values flexibility, is comfortable with independent decision-making, and has experience managing a broad range of pediatric concerns, including behavioral and mental health-related calls.
Practice Overview
Practice Type: Telemedicine (Remote / After-Hours Pediatric Care)
Patient Population: Pediatrics
Schedule: Approximately 24 hours clinical, patient-facing hours per week
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Thursday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Your Day-to-Day
Provide remote clinical care and guidance via telemedicine for pediatric patients and families
Assess, triage, and manage a variety of acute and non-urgent pediatric concerns
Address after-hours calls, including general pediatric and behavioral health-related inquiries
Provide clinical recommendations, reassurance, and appropriate follow-up guidance
Escalate cases as needed and coordinate care with primary providers when appropriate
Document patient interactions in the electronic medical record (EMR)
What We Are Looking For
MD or DO (Physician only)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active New York State Medical License
Experience in outpatient pediatrics or urgent care settings preferred
Comfortable managing a wide range of pediatric concerns independently
Experience or comfort with pediatric behavioral and mental health-related calls strongly preferred
Strong communication skills, particularly in a remote setting
Ability to make sound clinical decisions in an after-hours environment

Compensation Offered:
Salary - Salary Plan, 60,000.00 USD AnnualThe salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
