Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience with Disability Evaluation and/ or workers compensation and writing Medical Evaluation reports for disabilities Experience evaluating patients for fitness-for-duty and disability determination by conducting complex and comprehensive reviews and thorough physical and mental examinations; Experience performing extensive research, consultation, and advising medical and healthcare specialists regarding impact of diagnosis and treatment for various patient cases; Experience overseeing medical readiness processes to ensure healthcare providers are appropriately trained, patients are thoroughly counseled, and medical tests/ examinations are properly annotated in systems of record; Experience with medical evaluation board activities in applying professional theories, principles, and practices of medicine sufficient to develop guidelines for interns, residents, and other medical staff when providing patient care services; Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0600/physician-series-0602/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
