About the Opportunity:

About the Practice:

  • The West area for SHVI includes the Lincolnton, Gastonia, and Shelby practices. There are currently 3 general cardiologists and 5 Advanced Practice Providers in Shelby. Opportunity for inpatient coverage (1 in 4 weeks M-F) at Atrium Health – Cleveland with outpatient practice/imaging located in Gastonia.
  • Shared regional call rotation for nights and weekends. (approximately 8-9 weekends/year)
  • Fully accredited echo lab within both Shelby and Gastonia practices. Multi-disciplinary clinic including vascular and electrophysiology services.
  • Inpatient and outpatient service with dedicated reading time
  • Great collegiality within the practice and support among other specialists and administration

Atrium Health Cleveland is a 241-bed hospital in Shelby, NC, providing comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care and was the first Level III trauma center in NC, offering advanced emergency care.
