Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Per Diem Endodontist to join the Dental Department at Riedman Health Center, a teaching site with an established Dental Residency Program. This role is ideal for an endodontist interested in flexible clinical work while supporting resident education and required program mandatories.

Position Overview

The Per Diem Endodontist will provide specialized endodontic care on an as-needed basis and support dental resident education in alignment with residency program requirements. This role blends direct patient care with clinical teaching and supervision in a collaborative academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality endodontic care in an outpatient dental clinic setting
• Supervise and support dental residents during endodontic procedures
• Participate in resident education, case discussions, and clinical teaching
• Support residency program mandatories and accreditation-related requirements as needed
• Collaborate with dental faculty, residents, and department leadership
• Uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency program
• Board eligible or board certified in Endodontics
• Eligible for or holding an active New York State dental license
• Interest in clinical education and resident mentorship preferred

Schedule

• Per Diem (sessions scheduled based on departmental and residency program needs)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$90.00 - $90.00Rochester14621

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
