This is a remote, work from home position. Remote work is currently only approved for residents living in the following states:  AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.

Pay Range

$33.05 - $49.60

Performs complex planning and analysis functions; organizes implements and manages physician compensation plans; serves as a consultant to PSA and Service Line Leaders.  Performs tasks required for the accurate calculation and payment of physician compensation.  Prepares and documents data necessary to calculate physician compensation in accordance with contracts, addendums, and compensation plans.  Processes other payments as required.  Provides decision support particularly in interpretation of trends and variance analysis; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serves as point of contact for PSA and Service Line leaders for all physician compensation and related issues.  Sets and monitor appropriate physician compensation draw rates; conducts monthly meetings with Senior Leadership to ensure compensation, compliance and HR process and procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for obtaining and verifying reasonableness of data used to measure physician productivity, and to utilize this information in physician productivity evaluation, compensation calculation and compensation plan management.
  • Prepares various physician compensation and production analyses, models and reports, physician’s following year compensation projections
  • Reconciles accounts and preparing accounting accrual entries to ensure supported, timely and accurate financial records.
  • Develops and maintains reports and data related to monthly payment of physician compensation.
  • Participates in Physician Compensation Department teams to create and or design physician compensation reports, plans,  databases or documentation to improve processes and procedures.
  • Prepares various physician compensation and production analyses, models and reports, physician’s following year compensation projections and annual physician compensation budget.
  • Participates in the maintenance of reports and records to properly account for and make payments related to retention bonuses, sign-on bonuses, incentive compensation and other special compensation arrangements.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.


Education Required:

  • BA or equivalent knowledge in Finance or related field


Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3 years of experience


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Strong computer skills, especially database and worksheet applications
  • Proven analytical skills, including familiarity with large databases, analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks to reach deadlines
  • Excellent work attitude and ability to work with others
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Exposed to normal office environment.
  • Must be able to sit majority of the workday.
  • Functional speech and language in order to communicate with others and on the phone.
  • Position may be required to travel to other sites; therefore, may be exposed to road and weather hazards.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job.
