Job Summary: Vacancy is internal to Fargo VA HCS employees.

Major Duties:

  • Performs job related health assessments and physical examinations/evaluations appropriate to the occupational physical requirements and potential exposures. Treats acute minor work-related illnesses and diseases within the scope of individual credentialed capabilities. Conducts a comprehensive program of occupational medical surveillance examinations based on the actual and potential health hazards encountered in the workplace. Provides medical care and health assessments for civilian personnel and uses professional judgment to make recommendations for proper placement consistent with job requirements. Arrange for Physician consultation when required. Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 0800 - 1630 Compressed/Flexible: Not Available Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Qualifications: Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Physician Assistant Basic Requirements Master's degree in any discipline or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a Physician Assistant ~AND~ Successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) (or are you in the process to taking the exam) ~AND~ Currently hold, or will hold, a full and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia. Must maintain current registration in the State of licensure if this is a requirement for continuing active, current licensure.
