Administers basic treatments such as moist heat/cold packs under the direct supervision of a Licensed/Certified Therapist and/or Assistant.
Assists therapist in patient handling tasks while using safe body mechanics
Assists patients in their established therapeutic exercise routine under the direct supervision of a Licensed/Certified Therapist and/or Assistant.
Transports patients to/from therapy sessions.
Completes daily temperature logs on required equipment and documents accurately.
Reports any equipment malfunction through proper channels.
Performs clerical duties as directed.
Rotates through the various therapy areas and generally anticipates the needs of the therapists as it relates to the patient's care.
Demonstrates competency via successful completion of annual departmental skills checklist.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-4 years of experience preferred.
Schedule:
Mon/Tues/Thurs: 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Wednesday: 9am-2pm
