This is a Physical Security Manager position with emphasis on secured area construction and technical security infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementation and compliance with all US Government and Raytheon security requirements. Incumbent will provide guidance and direction to Project Management, Closed Area Custodians, and SAP and Industrial Security Professionals. This role will coordinate with external and internal customers on physical security requirements, and interface with Raytheon management on major matters pertaining to the programs policies, plans, and objectives. You must be able to communicate vision and strategies effectively with both Raytheon leadership and strategic partners. You must also have knowledge of general security in depth principles.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the implementation of physical security requirements to safeguard classified information across the business as it relates to meeting new construction and renovation requirements for standing up DoD closed areas and SAP’s/SCIF’s as well as technical security projects and initiatives.
  • Review building construction/remodel design plans.
  • Manage Integrator relationships and purchase orders.
  • Conduct assessments of existing space to determine security vulnerabilities.
  • Support projects to maintain and enhance site’s physical security posture.
  • Support physical security initiatives for sites located in the Southeast region.
  • Conduct Physical Security Assessments
  • Assist in Self-Inspection Assessments as the physical security subject matter expert
  • This position is based in Huntsville, AL serving our Southeast Region.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Security related position applying NISPOM, UL 2050, and ICD 705 requirements
  • Experience in threat assessment and risk analysis, integrated physical security systems and/or ongoing evaluations of security measures
  • Experience with Fixed Facility Checklists, self-inspections and/or DCSA Form147’s

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related major.
  • Possess a minimum of a current, final TOP SECRET security clearance with an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment.
  • Professional certifications i.e., Physical Security Professional (PSP), Physical Security Certification (PSC), Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC).
  • Experience in a multi-site environment utilizing state-of-the-art electronics with knowledge of TCP/IP, fiber-optic and CAD experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate with other businesses in developing and maintaining a progressive security program.
  • Ability to work effectively and comfortably with internal and external customers of all levels.
  • Experience maintaining a Physical Security program consisting of Sensitive Conventional Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
