Micron Technology, Inc.のFabエンジニアとして、製品品質と信頼性の向上、プロセス歩留まり改善、コスト削減、生産性向上、リスク管理、製造ラインの問題解決を目的に、プロセスや装置の立ち上げ、開発、最適化を担当する他のプロセス・装置エンジニアと協働します。このポジションでは、故障解析、FMEA、8D、SPC手法を用いてプロセス関連の問題を特定、診断、解決します。追加の責任として、プロセス、装置、材料の評価・最適化を調整・実施し、プロセスステップでの変更を実装、歩留まり改善やコスト削減活動の主導・参加、新プロセスのベースライン認定の対応、品質・コスト・リスク管理目標達成のための監査や材料サプライヤーとの連携を行います。

職務と責任

Photo DUVスキャナーエンジニアは、生産装置の構造と動作原理を習得し、生産機械の生産性向上に向けた活動に従事します。Photo DUVスキャナーエンジニアの役割と責任は以下の通りです:

  • 安全および品質プロトコルを厳守し、実施する。
  • DUVスキャナー装置を操作・維持し、装置の稼働率を向上させる。
  • トラブルシューティングを実施し、装置の問題を迅速に解決し、効率的な性能を確保する。
  • 装置およびソフトウェアのアップグレードを実施し、性能を向上させる。
  • 新装置の立ち上げ業務を遂行する。
  • クロスファンクショナルチームと協力し、プロセス改善を特定・実装する。プロセス条件と技術を確立・改善する。
  • プロセス能力を向上させ、製造コストを削減する。
  • プロセスマネジメントプロジェクトを確立・修正する。
  • 半導体装置の多様なプロセスパラメータを設定する。
  • 新装置・材料の評価、推進、計画を行う。
  • 異常解析と改善。

Job Summary

As a Fab Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Scanner engineers are responsible for mastering the structure and operating principles of production equipment and engaging in activities to enhance the productivity of production machinery. The roles and responsibilities of a Photo ASML DUV Scanner Engineer are as follows:

  • Strictly adhere to and implement safety and quality protocols.
  • Operate and maintain ASML DUV scanner equipment to improve equipment utilization.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to swiftly resolve equipment issues and ensure efficient performance.
  • Perform equipment and software upgrades to achieve improved equipment performance.
  • Undertake the startup tasks for new equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and successfully implement process improvements. Establish and improve process condition and technology.
  • Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost.
  • Establish and modify process management projects.
  • Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment.
  • Evaluation, promotion and planning of new equipment / materials.
  • Abnormal analysis and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for learning, growth, and self-development.
  • Commitment to achieving goals with perseverance.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Japanese and English (communication level)
