Phlebotomy Territory Manager

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Territory Manager to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, additional days/hours may be required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the activities of patient service technicians and oversees the operations of patient service centers within an assigned territory as well as any IOPs within the territory
  • Interrelates with laboratory directors, department managers, and branch managers to ensure the optimal operation of the patient services department
  • Ensures that all policies and procedures are updated and implemented in each territory in compliance with state and federal regulations and company mandates
  • Provides orientation, training, and performance evaluation of all patient services supervisors.
  • Ensures regular and timely completion of periodic financial analyses for all patient service technician positions and patient service centers.
  • Ensures regular and timely completion of periodic inspections of patient service centers and patient service technicians
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
  • Assist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices
  • Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
  • 2 years or more experience in a Management or Supervisory position 

Additional Job Standards:

  • In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities, and techniques
  • Be at least 21 years of age, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

As a Phlebotomy Territory Manager you will lead a team of Phlebotomists/Supervisors and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others.
