Phlebotomy Technician - Part Time Evenings

Committed to care, our Phlebotomy Technicians can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team of 26 Phlebotomists in a fast-paced inpatient unit drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures.

This is a part-time evening phlebotomy position (2 pm -10 pm) , every other weekend. Rotating holidays

Preferred Criteria

• Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association preferred.
• One year prior venipuncture experience preferred.

Required Criteria

• Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED required.  
• Knowledge of principles of infection control and normal anatomy required. Customer service skills required.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
