$21.45 - $32.20Job Summary: Following established policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a pharmacist prepares and distributes medication and performs functions essential to the operations of the hospital pharmacy department. Assumes responsibility for inventory maintenance to ensure that quality in-date drug products and supplies are available when needed. Participates in training new staff. Participates in quality and process improvement activities of the Central Pharmacy. Maintains updated knowledge and skills and contributes to the education of others. Attends periodic area meetings. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building. Will be expected to uphold the hospital’s five key values. May be cross trained to other areas.
