The Pharmacy Technician – Ambulatory, Part Time supports a high-volume outpatient pharmacy at Main Campus (JJ Building/Euclid Ave), one of four retail pharmacies on campus processing approximately 1,100 prescriptions per day. This role rotates through multiple workstations, including register, prescription preparation, data entry and insurance processing, and inventory management (cycle counts, restocking, and ordering). Technicians also provide customer service to patients, providers, and care teams, contributing to efficient and accurate pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This setting is best suited for individuals with prior pharmacy experience.
A caregiver in this position will work part-time rotating shifts every week, rotating between 6:45am and 3:15pm, 8:30am and 5:00pm, 10:00am and 6:30pm or 11:45am and 8:15pm. Further requirements include weekends (every 8-9th) and holidays (every 3 years) on rotation.

Physical Requirements:
Typical physical demands include ability to perform the job while standing, reaching, stretching, stooping, and sitting for prolonged times; manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer, dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 20 lbs. while walking, stooping, bending and reaching.
