The Pharmacy Technician – Ambulatory, Adherence Packaging supports a high-volume pharmacy operation focused on improving medication adherence through specialized packaging and proactive patient outreach. Following an initial training period, this hybrid role offers a primarily remote schedule, with most work conducted via phone in a fast-paced environment handling approximately 1,300 prescriptions per day. Responsibilities include case management support, managing a high volume of outbound and inbound calls, coordinating medication deliveries, and assisting patients with questions related to medications and insurance, including Medicare Part B. This role plays a meaningful part in supporting complex patient populations, including transplant patients, and contributes directly to improved health outcomes. The team fosters a supportive, patient-centered culture and is known for going above and beyond for both patients and caregivers.
A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from with rotations starting from 7:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends, holidays or on-call requirements. The potential for overtime is available.

Must hold an active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP)

It is required, within 18 months from the date of hire: Must obtain a national certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA) AND Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
