What you will do
- Accurately count the number of cartons/pallets of each item received.
- Check in detail merchandise against P.O.’s. Notify Rx Buyer (Rx Supervisor in Buyer’s absence) of overages or damaged merchandise.
- Attach all discrepancies or problem solver forms to the P.O. and give to Supervisor for processing.
- Tag each item with License Plate for put away.
- Total all quantities and complete general information on P.O./Driver Document.
- Hand delivers completed P.O./Driver Document, freight bill, and packing slips to the Receiving Clerical.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate updating of On-Line Receiving.
- Perform preliminary safety check of assigned equipment prior to daily operation.
- Perform required duties while operating order picker in a safe and responsible manner.
- Use order picker to process item movement from Deep Reserve stack merchandise on pallets uniformly, secure with strapping tape, and forward to the pallet to designated area.
- Retrieve cases via WMS System.
- Note/correct discrepancies encountered while retrieving merchandise from Deep Reserve location.
- Adhere to established safety procedures while properly connecting equipment to battery charger.
- Operate manual or electric pallet jacks and any other equipment as required.
- Complete and submit daily worksheet describing task/work performed.
- Control drugs require verification by another receiver and paperwork to stay with product while moving to the control area. Controls must be put into controls area during the shift in which they are received.
- File control P.O.’s separately in P.O. order until P.O. is received in full. It is then forwarded to the RX Clerical for filing.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a good line of communication with the Rx Purchasing Department.
- Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition on a daily basis. Following housekeeping rotation schedule, which is provided by Supervisor.
- Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and count accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Ability to operate and be certified as an operator of power jacks, fork trucks, and any other power equipment as needed.
- Normal eyesight (natural or corrected).
- Ability to pass a D.E.A. background check.
- Physical Demands: This position has a Frequent Medium Lifting requirement – (34% -66%) up to 20 lbs. and Occasional Medium Heavy (0 % - 33%). Other physical activities include Constant bending/reaching/stooping (67% - 100%). Constant walking/standing/climbing (67% - 100%).
- Work Environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $25.65
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
