About the role
Join the Pharmacy team at Cabrini Health as the Pharmacy Purchasing Team Leader, supporting the efficient and cost-effective procurement of pharmaceuticals at Cabrini Health. You will ensure timely access to fit-for-purpose goods and services, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain strong communication with service managers and suppliers.
What you’ll be doing
Manage pharmaceutical purchase orders end-to-end in a timely manner
Source and competitively quote non-contracted items in line with policy
Monitor orders, resolve delivery issues and liaise with suppliers
Maintain confidentiality of pricing and procurement information
Reconcile invoices and manage discrepancies, returns and credits
Analyse purchasing data and assist with reporting and stocktakes
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a commercially minded Pharmacy Purchasing Team Leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with:
1–3 years’ purchasing experience, ideally in healthcare within a medium to large multi-site or acute hospital setting
Experience with iPharmacy (advantageous)
Strong supplier engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accountability, professionalism and ethical standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
