The Pharmacy Material Coordinator – Narcotic Inventory role at Cleveland Clinic offers a unique opportunity to work independently across multiple care settings while directly impacting patient safety through accurate controlled substance management. This role provides broad visibility across inpatient, emergency department, and hospice operations, with exposure to inventory management, automation systems, and purchasing functions. Responsibilities include managing and fulfilling medication orders with a focus on controlled substances, refilling and maintaining Pyxis and other automated dispensing systems, ensuring medication accuracy, availability, and regulatory compliance, prepackaging medications for distribution, supporting narcotic inventory tracking and monitoring, assisting with purchasing for offsite locations, and proactively identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies or risks.
A caregiver in this role will work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm at Lodi Hospital. This caregiver will rotate every fifth weekend at Akron General Hospital.
Weekend rotation shift is flexible.
