Pharmacy Intern will be participating in the training program for Pre-Registration Pharmacists (Indirect Patient Care). The intern will develop fundamental knowledge in Pharmacovigilance and Safety Risk Management throughout the lifecycle of a product and enabling safe access to innovative treatments for the patients, ensuring optimal benefit-risk balance for a therapeutic product.
At the end of the training program, the intern should achieve the following;
Understand and apply pre-marketing pharmacovigilance requirements in Asia Pacific
Understand and apply post-marketing pharmacovigilance requirements in Asia Pacific
Understand EU Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP) and its implementation in global processes
Understand and apply how Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) as a foundational block contributes to further signaling and benefit-risk analysis activities
Understand and apply how Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) ensures accountability
Appreciate and understand the roles and responsibilities of various job functions to enable access to innovative treatments for patients
To be able to accurately assess and independently complete some Pharmacovigilance requirements
Demonstrate soft skills, project management and presentation skills
Qualifications

Based in Singapore for the program period
Expected to graduate with Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons)
Meet the eligibility requirements of National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC) for Indirect Patient Care rotation
Growth mindset with learning agility
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and efficiently in an international set-up
Good interpersonal skills, ability to build strong sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
Strong co-curricular/portfolio records
Good presentation and project management skills
