The Pharmacy Intern – Ambulatory supports outpatient pharmacy operations by rotating through multiple workstations, including register support, prescription preparation, data entry and insurance processing, and inventory management such as cycle counts, restocking, and ordering. This role also provides customer service to patients, providers, and care teams while ensuring smooth workflow and timely prescription processing. In addition to operational responsibilities, the intern gains exposure to clinical workflows, offering a well-rounded ambulatory pharmacy experience.
A caregiver in this position will work full-time, Monday through Friday on 8 hour shifts.
Weekends occur every 8-9th weekend and holidays occur every 3 years on rotation. The weekday shifts rotate between 4 different shifts every
week: 6:45am-3:15pm, 8:30am-5pm, 10am-6:30pm and 11:45am-8:15pm. During the Summer expectations to work are Monday through Friday. With the ability to pick up shifts additionally throughout the week.

Typical physical demands include ability to perform job while standing, reaching, stretching and sitting for prolonged periods; manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer functions of job.
