This Pharmacist will support our Outpatient Oncology and non-oncology Infusion Service in New Albany, Indiana, as well as the Eastpoint and Kresge infusion centers. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible and accountable for the provisions of safe, effective, and timely medication therapy, as well as utilization of knowledge and expertise in sterile compounding of hazardous and non-hazardous medications in provision of pharmaceutical care. Additionally, this position is responsible for drug preparation and distribution of medications; evaluating, inputting and verification of medication orders; assisting providers and other health care professionals by serving as a drug information resource; monitoring chemotherapy regimens to ensure safe and effective treatment; and managing pharmacy inventory.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy
Indiana Board of Pharmacy license
Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license
Oncology Infusion experience as Pharmacist preferred
BLS within 90 days
ACLS within 6 months
